La Doll clay is made from finely ground natural stone including pumice, talc, and paper pulp. This clay is air drying and does not require any baking, but can be kept workable over a long project by ensuring that the clay is kept damp. Once dry the clay can be carved, sanded, and polished and it is possible to add extra raw clay even once the original layer has dried.
La Doll is a bright white colour and is suitable to be used over a wide range of armature materials including wire, glass, wood, and paper. Once fully dried the clay can be painted with any type of paint. Finished clay pieces will be flexible once cured. Hard clay can be kneaded with some water and unused clay can be stored in an air tight container for future use.
