Acid Dye 1/2 oz

These powdered Acid Dyes are used to dye a variety of protein based fibers including silk, wool, feathers, and nylons. The colours are highly concentrated, making them bright and colourfast and they will produce uniform colours when used for immersion dyeing. Once set these acid dyes won't bleed or fade when washed.

Despite the name the only Acid required in this dyeing process is white vinegar or citric acid which is added to the dye bath.

Jacquard Acid Dyes can also be used for printing application, yarn, fiber and fabric dyeing, and direct painting.

The range comes in 40 colours in 14.70g (0.50 oz) containers.
